Suomi24 Pilot

Suomi24 is an online Finnish discussion club designed for non-native speakers to practice their Finnish language skills in a casual setting with peers. The primary objective is to establish a continuous discussion group that is committed to enhancing their Finnish conversational abilities over time. The pilot program will continue on:

Monday, December 9, 2024 10:00-10:30

Wednesday December 11, 2024 from 10:00-10:30

Thursday December 12, 2024 from 10:00-10:30

Friday December 13, 2024 from 10:00-10:30

Participation is free to begin with, but we need you to register, before joining.

While the discussion group will have facilitators, it is important to note that these individuals are not professional Finnish language instructors; rather, this is a hobby-oriented initiative. 

Participants will be asked to contribute a support member fee of €10, payable via MobilePay at 739KT. The support fee is a one-time fee that is valid until December 2024. This group will continue to meet until the end of December (week 51). Should the pilot prove successful, we plan to resume activities in January 2025 (week 2), with updates provided weekly as the groups are formed.

The goal of the pilot is to create groups that convene two to three times a week, depending on participants' levels of conversational competence. Additionally, we aim to gather insights on how to further develop and improve the discussion group.
